Transit Organizations have options for expedited processing through Paper Recertification or Auto Renewal

After the initial granting of paratransit services, some riders may qualify for an expedited process for renewal. Riders who have no change to their circumstance may be granted renewal through a paper application process. Changes in functional abilitycmay designate the rider for a more extensive interview or in-person functional test.

Auto renewal

Riders with little likelihood of change in functional ability may qualify for an automated renewal of paratransit services. C.A.R.E. works with transit organization to implement a fair and consistent policy.
