Paratransit Appeals

ADA Paratransit eligibility is provided to people with disabilities who cannot use fixed route transit. ADA Paratransit Eligibility is based on a person's functional ability and any limitations that prevent the use of fixed route service.

C.A.R.E. will administer and perform ADA Paratransit Eligibility appeals as set forth in 49 CFR § (G) of the Americans with Disabilities Act for people appealing their paratransit eligibility determination. Applicants who have been deemed ineligible or given limited eligibility are given an opportunity to be heard and to present additional information or arguments about their case.
